Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking, attending, or participating in any Ocean Sailing Adventures service, event, or training program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

2. Booking and Payment Flow

Bookings may be created directly by a customer or by an authorized partner/instructor referrer on a customer's behalf. Some bookings are placed on a temporary reservation hold pending payment.

• Payment is completed through secure Stripe-hosted checkout or other approved payment methods.
• If payment is not completed by the hold deadline, the reservation may be cancelled automatically.
• Prices, fees, taxes, and included services are shown at checkout or in booking documents.

3. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate contact and participant information.
• Review and comply with event prerequisites, preparation instructions, and safety directions.
• Arrive on time and follow crew and instructor instructions during all activities.
• Maintain respectful behavior toward crew, instructors, other participants, and equipment.

4. Changes, Delays, and Cancellations

We may modify itineraries, schedules, vessels, instructors, or event formats when reasonably required for safety, weather, operations, or regulatory compliance. Customer cancellation and refund rights are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy and any more specific written terms provided for the booking.

5. Safety and Participation

Sailing activities involve inherent risks. Participants are responsible for evaluating personal readiness and following safety requirements. We may remove a participant from an event when needed for safety, conduct, or operational reasons.

6. Partner and Referral Terms

Partners and instructor referrers may receive referral attribution or commission under separate partner program rules. Referral attribution may require use of affiliate links, referral codes, or designated booking workflows.

7. Communications and Notifications

By booking, you consent to receive transactional communications related to your booking, including confirmations, payment reminders, updates, and operational notices by email and, where applicable, SMS.

8. Privacy and Data Handling

Personal data is handled according to the Privacy Policy. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored in full by Ocean Sailing Adventures systems.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ocean Sailing Adventures is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation, booking delays, schedule changes, or service interruptions.

10. Governing Terms and Updates

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted at the time of booking governs unless a separate written agreement applies. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
